On Saturday morning listeners to The Catholic Business Hour found out why a busy headmaster launched a textbook project — producing textbooks that are now in use in schools in all 50 states and overseas as well! In an informative interview Saturday morning on the EWTN Global Catholic radio network, which includes 130 AM/FM stations nationwide, Siruius 160 and online, The Catholic Business Hour host Dick Lyles interviewed headmaster Michael Van Hecke, M.Ed.
Mr. Van Hecke is a seasoned Catholic school headmaster of 18 years who in his career founded both The Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (www.CatholicLiberalEducation.org), an organization dedicated to the vibrant integration of the faith and its principles in all aspects of a Catholic school community, and also the Catholic Schools Textbook Project (www.CatholicTextbookProject.com) — producing the only textbooks created specifically for Catholic schools!
